I wanted to share this quote I found somewhere online. I think it is the wisest piece of advice that can ever be given. 2012 is starting up, so it’s a good reason to turn things for the better. People have a lot of power. They have the power to change themselves and therefore affect change in others.
A lot of times friends of mine discredit themselves thinking they can’t make a difference. I can’t help but agree in their current thought flow, because they’re looking at Making a Difference the absolute wrong way. If you’re looking to be extraordinary, the first thing you should do is start to have faith in yourself.
Find your strengths, find your weaknesses. Play your strengths, confront your weaknesses, and start living a better day. Because, believe it or not, you’re less appealing/attractive/interesting when you put yourself down and it’s obvious that it affects you when you do, and it’s hard to change others when you’re not someone other people look up to.
